Joyce McKay, the soul
and spirit of The Painter's Cottage, is an artist, animal
lover, and nature lover. These passions are clearly seen in the gentleness
and detail of her work. Although she has been painting since she was barely old enough to hold a brush, Joyce has had little formal training. Through self-study, careful observation and experience, she has taught herself watercolors, tole painting, theorem painting and folk art. These have evolved into the unique "cottage" look you see here. |
